Janet Barron

Janet is an experienced medical negligence litigator with a decade of practice across four Perth law firms, specialising in aged care, disability, and health law. She has represented clients in civil cases in Western Australia’s District and Supreme Courts and advised health practitioners on AHPRA complaints and disciplinary matters. Janet also served as a medico-legal advisor and case manager at Medical Defense Australia. With extensive hands-on experience in aged and dementia care, she has coordinated long-term care for multiple family members. An honorary member of the Christ Church Grammar School Parents’ Association, she has contributed to fundraising for youth suicide prevention. She is also a member of the Law Society of Western Australia.
