Ian Hammer

Ian Hamer is the founder and co-owner of Quokkaroo Pty Ltd, a specialist skilled migration and recruitment business. He a director, executive and specialist advisor. As an experienced executive with a significant history of working in healthcare, investment banking and law, Ian is an entrepreneurial professional skilled in strategy development, M&A, business development, property development, innovation, general management and finance. He has served as Executive General Manager, Mergers, Acquisitions and Strategy for a national full continuum of care aged care business, securing $45 million of private equity investment into the home care business, and oversaw the successful merger of three NFP HACC providers in metropolitan Perth. He led Perth Property Investment Banking team at Rothschild Australia partnering with developers across the full scope of the property sector. Developments ranged in size from $150 million multi-level apartments to mixed use developments, residential sub-divisions, retirement villages and residential aged care. Ian has prior roles in law and banking in London (Allen and Overy and CSFB), Sydney (HBOS) and Perth (King and Wood Mallesons).
