Barbara Macleod

Barbara is the Chairperson, Director, and Secretary of Carealot Home Health Services Pty Ltd. A Registered Nurse with a Master of Advanced Nursing (Primary Health Specialist) and an Eden Alternative Associate, she has led the transformation of aged care since founding Carealot in 1994. Barbara specialises in innovative elder care, emphasising health equity and social determinants of health. Recognised with the Telstra National Businesswomen Award and inducted into the Australian Businesswomen Hall of Fame, she is a member of ACN, APNA, and AICD. She remains dedicated to evidence-based practice, innovation, and mentoring.
